The Greater Mankato Business Accelerator connects entrepreneurs in our area with the resources and answers they need to start and grow their business. Greater Mankato Growth also provides a wealth of resources to existing businesses in the Greater Mankato region. While companies and entrepreneurs in the region have access to these services, not all areas are so fortunate. And there are times when Greater Mankato companies that do business outside the area (e.g. construction firms), need to know about resources in other parts of the state. That’s the value of the new state-wide business assistance and referral network BusinessConnection.

Business connection serves as a single entry point to become connected with private and public resources throughout the state to solve everyday business problems.  BusinessConnection is open to all businesses and can be reached via the web site mnbizconnect.com. BusinessConnection is also available toll-free by calling (888) MINN-BIZ (646-6249).

BusinessConnection is a program of Grow Minnesota!, a subsidiary of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, both of which Greater Mankato Growth is a member. Grants from the McKnight Foundation to Grow Minnesota! and DEED will cover the start-up and initial operating costs of BusinessConnection. Use of the database and network will be monitored carefully to determine the program’s permanency as part of Grow Minnesota!
