- 1) Biographical information: in 200 words or less describe your background.
- 2) Leadership Qualities: in 300 words or less describe the leadership qualities you possess and how you have used them. In addition, describe the leadership skills you wish to strengthen by participating in the program.
- 3) Support Letters-Include two letters of reference in support of your participation in the Leadership Institute
- Send a Signed Leadership Institute Commitment Form filled out by you and your employer.

The Greater Mankato Leadership Institute is a comprehensive nine-month program running 1-2 day long sessions each month:

- Team Leadership
- Community Leadership
- Money Matters
- Diversity in Leadership
- Communication in Leadership
- Civic Engagement & Advocacy
- Greater Mankato Day at the Capital
- Ethical Leadership
- Balancing Priorities
- Servant Leadership
- Graduation in May
Tuition for the entire nine month program is $1,375 for Greater Mankato Growth members (average of $125 per session). Tuition covers all program costs, including materials, meals, as well as transportation and lodging for the two day February 2012 session. Full tuition must be paid by August 31, 2011. If a registered class member must withdraw from the program, Greater Mankato Growth requires notice in writing four days prior to the starting date. With proper notification, every reasonable effort will be made to fill the opening with another participant and refund the withdrawing member's tuition. However, if the slot cannot be filled, no refund will be given.
