The Leaders of Tomorrow (LoT) program is a collaboration between Greater Mankato Growth, Bethany Lutheran College, Minnesota State Mankato, South Central College, Gustavus Adolphus College, and Rasmussen College to support Greater Mankato’s commitment to developing the best talent in our community.
Students
The LoT program offers students from the 5 area colleges the opportunity to network with local business, community and non-profit leaders and to develop leadership skills through educational sessions and special events. Participants will also better understand the Greater Mankato community and the opportunities available to them in the region upon graduation.
To complete the program a student will have to attend the following:
Four professional networking and special events
Events of your choice sponsored by Greater Mankato Growth. These may include, but not be limited to, Business Before Hours, Business After Hours and other Networking events, and select Young Professionals events.
Four Leadership of Tomorrow educational events
The educational sessions will cover topics such as teamwork, communication, conflict management, ethics, civic engagement, or leadership style and decision making depending on interest of the coordinators and availability of speakers. Some Young Professionals professional development events can also be used for these events.
