Greater Mankato Growth and The Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation are excited to announce grant winners for projects to engage older individuals in the Greater Mankato area.

SySTEM+M

SySTEM+M was awarded funding for a proposed project to use skilled Seniors to transfer knowledge to younger, new and incumbent workers. Hhave skilled Seniors update other Seniors on changes and trend in manufacturing. Have skilled younger workers update Seniors to extend their capabilities.

W.O.W (Welcoming Older Workers)

WOW was awarded funding for a proposed project to help older workers find employment in the Greater Mankato Area, educate local businesses on the benefits of hiring them, and provide resources for both to create an ideal matching and placement structure.
