Greater Mankato Convention & Visitors Bureau Mission Statement:
The Greater Mankato Convention & Visitors Bureau markets the region and produces an economic impact from tourism through overnight visitors.
The 2006-07 Work Plan is comprised of five divisions aimed at achieving the missions of the Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau. The divisions include:

Continue membership growth and development in order to execute a financial base of support for the Chamber resulting from membership investment revenue. Continue to execute a comprehensive, long-term member retention program designed to support and retain the member base.

Develop and offer member-only services that provide value-added benefits to their Chamber of Commerce membership.
membership events
Develop, implement and evaluate programs that provide members with opportunities to network and promote their business, while creating non-dues revenue for the Greater Mankato Chamber of Commerce.

Communicate, market and promote to Greater Mankato Chamber of Commerce members and potential members the positive impacts the organization makes on our business community.
