Each year the Chamber honors several individuals and businesses by recognizing them with the following awards:


Business Pathfinder Awards
Nominees may be businesses who, in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., are initiators or action takers in the struggle for equal treatment, human rights and non-violence. The awards will be presented at the Monday, January 21, 2008 Mankato Area Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration at East High School, 2600 Hoffman Rd., Mankato MN.

Hap Halligan Leadership Award Recipients:
Each year the Greater Mankato Chamber of Commerce has presented the Hap Halligan Leadership award at our Annual Meeting to a graduate of Leadership Institute of Greater Mankato (formerly Leadership Mankato Area.). The purpose of the Hap Halligan Leadership Award is to recognize and honor an individual whose participation in the Leadership Institute of Greater Mankato program has helped to provide an impetus for outstanding contributions to our community. Brian Fazio Business Education Partnership Award:
Many innovative partnerships between local businesses and educational institutions have benefited our community. Each year, the Greater Mankato Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Mankato Economic Development Corporation present the Brian Fazio Business Education Partnership award to recognize an outstanding partnership during the previous year. These partnerships offer businesses the opportunity to assist in growing and training their future workforce, while offering students the opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge needed to enter into local, in-demand careers in Greater Mankato.
