Wellspring Investor Alliance serves as a link between prospective investors and entrepreneurs seeking investment capital. The alliance is composed of independent accredited angel investors interested in growing high potential businesses in the region. The alliance offers entrepreneurs access to prospective investors while working closely with the local pooled angel network TRAIN to diversify funding options in the area.

PROSPECTIVE INVESTORS
- Non-pooled: Individual investment opportunities are presented to you, and you decide as an individual if you want to invest in each opportunity. Wellspring is our area’s only non-pooled investment network.
- Sensitive to your time: Investment opportunities will be sent to you via email and accessible through a secured website, so there are no mandatory meetings. Of course, members may request a presentation meeting at any time to get more information on a particular investment opportunity.
- Quality (not quantity) focused: All investment opportunities will be put through a rigorous screening process before they’re sent to you, so you’ll only see those that are qualified.
- Regionally driven: Investment opportunities come primarily from enterprises right here in our area, allowing you to keep tabs on your investment(s) and strengthen the regional economy.
- Membership in the Wellspring Investor Alliance is limited to accredited angel investors - click here for a definition of an accredited investor
- Angel are accredited investors who have an interest in investing in and working with early stage, high growth potential companies.
- Members of the alliance receive deal flow information via email - Click here to learn more about the process.
- Presentation meetings held upon member(s) request only.
- Members are encouraged to work in committees to review and screen deals, conduct due diligence, negotiate terms and monitor deals post investment.
- Dues are $250 per year
- To be considered for membership, download and complete the member application, code of conduct and certification of accredited investor status. After submitting your documents, you will receive an email within 5 business days outlining your membership status. If accepted as a member, please mail your check in the amount of $250 to Greater Mankato Growth, @Wellspring Investor Alliance, 1961 Premier Drive, Suite 100, Mankato, MN 56001. ENTREPRENEURS SEEKING CAPITAL 
Wellspring Investor Alliance uses Angelsoft to manage our submission process. If this is your first time using Angelsoft, you will need to register. If you have already used Angelsoft to apply to another angel group, then you can login using your existing information.
After you login, you will be taken through a step by step process that will gather basic information about your company. You will also have the opportunity to upload documents that contain your business plan and presentation, and even do a video pitch. If you have all the necessary information available, the process should take about 20 minutes. Upon submitting a business plan, you will receive a confirmation email from Angelsoft. A one-page .pdf file containing all the application information will also be generated. This "Perfect One-Pager" helps the group to quickly assess how to proceed with your company and enables us to compare companies fairly. You will be able to save your application as a .pdf file for future use. We look forward to working with you through this process.
