Read It Again

Read It Again is working to create the tools and resources for children of immigrant families to improve literacy skills and to allow their parent to continue being a part of their education. Read It Again will produce multilingual books that will allow immigrant parents an opportunity to model the love of reading and to share their heritage language with their children. The stories will be co-written or co-inspired by children who immigrated to the United States. It will focus on their journey and the obstacles they encountered.  They will be stories that will be relatable and told with humor about the life of immigration through the eyes of children. Each book will have a short biography of the child and some information about their country. All factors that will bring awareness about immigration to native born children and their parents.
